Our Services
Environmental Services
We provide a range of offerings that aim to help our clients manage their environmental impact and comply with environmental regulations.
Preliminary site investigations (PSI)
Desktop reviews of historical and current uses at a site and the surrounding land uses. Preparation for a preliminary conceptual site model to identify any pollutant linkages (source-receptor-pathways). Site walkovers to identify any areas of potential contamination.
Detailed site assessments (DSI)
An intrusive assessment including the drilling of soil, groundwater and soil vapour bores and subsequent sampling and analysis.
Waste Classification
Assessment of soil either by in-situ soil sampling or stockpile sampling for off-site disposal purposes. Review of site history to identify which contaminants require analysis to determine the disposal category (Fill, Category A, B , C or D contaminated soil).
Air Quality/Hygiene Issues (depositional and ambient air monitoring)
The assessment of air quality typically related to industrial or commercial activities. The assessment can include both the monitoring of ambient air quality, as well as the measurement of the deposition of pollutants on surfaces and in soil. It can help to identify potential risks associated with air pollution and to develop strategies for mitigating those risks.
Preparation of Health, Safety and Environmental Management Plans
(HSE Plans) and Construction Environmental Management Plans (CEMP).
Asbestos Audits and Occupational Hygiene Services
A comprehensive inspection and assessment of buildings and other structures to determine whether asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) are present. Occupational hygiene assessment identifying and managing workplace hazards that can impact the health and safety of workers.
Real time Smart Sensor Monitoring for Construction/Mining/Linear Infrastructure Projects
Real time environmental data is vital for management of environmental risk and improved decision making that ultimately leads to efficiency in processes and therefore reducing project costs and environmental impact.
Human and Ecological Health Risk Assessment
A detailed analysis of the chemical or pollutant including its toxicological properties, sources of exposure, and the extent of exposure in the environment. An important assessment to identify potential risks associated with exposure to hazardous chemicals or pollutants in the environment, and to develop strategies for managing those risks.
Due Diligence and Feasibility Assessment
An assessment to identify potential environmental risks associated with a property or business transaction and to assess the feasibility of the transaction from an environmental perspective.
